We are trying to keep things simple and as clutter free as possible for everyone.
We found over the years, it's a lot of work trying to limit what is and isn't talked about by members so to offer board sponsors the most visibility. Fact is, with so many anglers looking to promote something also, they need a place to do this and don't need to fear they are treading a fine line of offending a board sponsor.
During our re-development, we have decided to create an area where anyone can promote anything fishing related for FREE! It's the category below called "Plug Your Stuff". It has an area for fishing guides to tell us more about their business and how to contact them, tackle companies can add a company listing with more information about their products etc. and an "other" category for anything else fishing related.
Our hope is that by providing this section of the site, we can have our general fishing topics without having things rammed down our throat on a constant basis. We don't mind the mention of, or a question about this or that during a topic but, the advertising related posts now have a place below.
