10/18/10 - School'd up Crappie & Gills
« on: October 20, 2010, 02:41:58 AM »
Got out yesterday, Monday, Oct. 18th, 2010
Fish'd from 10am till Noon, just 2 hours and I know I caught atleast 2 dozen fish as a mixture of crappie, gills, and largemouth, fish'n with 1/16oz jig heads, 2" rib grubs bluegill and firetiger.
Took a friend from work for his 1st time with me and I think I've got him hook'd on panfish'n, lol.
I'll let the pictures tell the story.

Fish On!

8 pictures of fun, I started out with firetiger, but after being 3-4 fish behind, I switched to brim color and came back strong for the rest of the day. Hope to get back out before too long, they are school'n up for winter.

thanks, but these are C&R only fish.  :P
C&R, that is why there are so many and so many large quality fish.  ;D

I don't use a fly rod, but I'll bet it would be a blast where you're fishing. ;)

I'm sure a fly rod would be fun, that is why I use a custom made 6'6" light action rod with 6# mono.
