Well I had to shake off the rust a little yesterday. Got blowed all over the lake and couldn't hit many spots but I found some staging fish that wanted to eat. Water was 50-51 and it won't be long now before things get really fun. Have a good weekend and stay safe out there.

Very nice BMD!! Congrats!! I went to Falls lake yesterday, stayed on the lower end (from 98 bridge to Horse Creek) and we couldn't buy a bite. Throwing cranks and plastics till my arm about fell off Buddy of mine, was fishing a tourney on Falls and fished in the mid section of lake and had 32 pounds!! Just goes to show ya, if you're not at the right place at the right time... Oh well, I'll be back out there this coming weekend helping NC State Basspack with their college tourney.

Roy, we heard about that catch up in VA yesterday, that was something. Not often you can double second place's weight. Also met some of the bass pack too, very cool folks.

thanks y'all...this time of year it can be feast or famine like you said Roy. They will stack up like cordwood in very small areas waiting to hit the banks. If you're fishing with the Wolfpack Chad and his partner are the ones to beat.

I hear ya BMD. Nope, not fishing, just helping out. Not saying I won't have time to wet a line here or there, but not the primary for goal for being there.

I hear ya Roy...this time of year it's hard not to wet a line...especially knowing them big girls are just itching to get on with the gettin on. Chad and his buddy have won the Johnson tournament the last two times so if CB and I fish it this year we will have to really step it up.

Well good luck to you guys if you decide to fish it. Let me know when it is as time gets closer and I'll come out for weigh-in if the wife will let me get away.

Yes sir I hope we can be there this year to try our luck in that tournament. I am not scared cause I have BMD for a partner and I am one heck of a net man. Just ask him and he will tell ya I will net one for ya like no one else can...

Hey Ice...sorry I didn't see this until now. I've never been to Beaver Dam yet. Those came out of my honey-hole. I was out there yesterday and caught a couple more that could have been their twins. One of these days I'm gonna have to talk CB into taking me out to Beaver Dam and see what all the fuss is about...good luck to you guys tomorrow.
