After winning the first Bassmaster Open of the 2020 season, Bryan New registered for all of the Opens in a bid to qualify for the Elites. He succeeded in that endeavor, claiming the title of 2020 Falcon Rods Bassmaster Opens Angler of the Year and continuing his momentum into the Elites by winning the first event of 2021.
